A ARITMÉTICA NO ENSINO PRIMÁRIO DE BRASÍLIA: CIRCULAÇÃO E APROPRIAÇÕES DE IDEIAS ADVINDAS DO PABAEE
O presente artigo foca a circulação e apropriações das ideias advindas do Programa de Assistência Brasileiro-Americana ao Ensino Elementar – PABAEE - para o ensino de Aritmética nas escolas públicas primárias de Brasília, de 1957 a 1963. Especificamente, busca-se analisar as apropriações da professora Olinda Lôbo, efetuadas a partir de sua participação no Curso PABAEE realizado no estado de Minas Gerais. O aporte teórico-metodológico é construído na perspectiva da História Cultural, com base nos conceitos de apropriação de Roger Chartier (2002) e relação global e local entre outros elementos que remetem à noção de circulação de Serge Gruzinski (2001). As informações foram coletadas a partir de entrevista da professora Olinda Lôbo e da análise do currículo da Fundação Educacional do Distrito Federal (FEDF) 1962/1963, do qual a professora foi uma das elaboradoras. Constatou-se que a referida professora se apropriou das recomendações propugnadas pelo PABAEE e foi protagonista das ideias pedagógicas ligadas ao ensino de Aritmética na educação primária de Brasília-DF.

Abstract:
This article focuses on the circulation and appropriation of ideas arising from the Brazilian-American Elementary Education Assistance Program (Known in Brasil by the Portuguese acronym, PABAEE) for the teaching of Arithmetic in the public elementary school of Brasília, from 1957 to 1963. Specifically, it seeks to analyze the appropriation of teacher Olinda Lôbo, made from his participation in the PABAEE Course held in the state of Minas Gerais. The theoretical-methodological contribution is constructed from the perspective of Cultural History, based on appropriation concepts by Roger Chartier's (2002) also global and local relationship among other elements that refer to the notion of circulation of Serge Gruzinski (2001). The information was collected from an interview with Professor Olinda Lôbo and of the analysis of the curriculum of the Educational Foundation of the Distrito Federal, state of Brasil (Known in Brasil by the Portuguese acronym, FEDF) 1962/1963, of which the teacher was one of the developers. It was verified that this teacher appropriated the recommendations advocated by PABAEE and was a protagonist of the pedagogical ideas linked to the teaching of Arithmetic in the primary education of Brasília-Distrito Federal.
