Abstract: Nutrition plays a crucial role in the burn healing process, directly influencing the patient's recovery and well-being. The objective of this work is to investigate arginine on the burn healing process. This type of injury, especially third-degree burns, cause a significant inflammatory response and increase the body's metabolic needs. Nutrients like essential amino acids are very important for tissue regeneration and accelerating the healing process. Proteins are essential for the synthesis of collagen, which is vital for the formation of new skin. Protein deficiencies can lead to slower healing and compromised skin integrity. Additionally, specific amino acids, such as arginine and glutamine, play important roles in the immune response and wound healing. Nutritional supplementation may be necessary in patients with severe burns to ensure adequate intake of all these essential nutrients. Therefore, a well-planned and personalized nutritional approach is essential for the efficient recovery of burn patients, accelerating the healing process and improving overall clinical outcomes.
