A Aplicação da Glutationa no Tratamento de Hiperpigmentações
As hiperpigmentações ou hipercromias podem ser causadas por diversos fatores, sendo eles de origem interna ou externa, caracterizada pela produção exacerbada de melanina pelos melanócitos. Porém, o tratamento desse distúrbio está sempre precisando de mais atualizações para encontrar um ativo capaz de remover essas manchas e sem provocar efeitos colaterais. É onde entra a glutationa, que é uma molécula antioxidante presente no nosso corpo e que está relacionada à melanogênese. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo descrever os resultados disponíveis atualmente sobre o uso da glutationa no tratamento de hiperpigmentações. Este trabalho trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica do tipo integrativa, realizada nas seguintes bases de dados: PubMed, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Google Acadêmico, Semantic Scholar e Embase. Foram utilizados os descritores glutationa, hiperpigmentação e pele em português, inglês e espanhol. A amostra final foi composta por 8 estudos. Os artigos apontaram que ainda são inconclusivos os efeitos da glutationa a médio e longo prazo para o tratamento das hipercromias.

Abstract:
Hyperpigmentations or hyperchromic spots can be caused by several factors, being of internal or external origin, characterized by the exacerbated production of melanin by melanocytes. However, the treatment of this disorder still needs more updates to find an active principle capable of removing these spots without causing side effects. This is where glutathione comes in, which is an antioxidant molecule present in our body and related to melanogenesis. Thus, the objective of this paper was to describe the results currently available on the use of glutathione in the treatment of hyperpigmentation. This work is a review of the integrative bibliographical type, carried out on the following databases: PubMed, Virtual Health Library (BVS), Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, and Embase. The descriptors glutathione, hyperpigmentation, and skin were used in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. The final sample consisted of 8 studies. The articles pointed out that the effects of glutathione in the medium and long term for the treatment of hyperpigmentations are still inconclusive.
