Abstract: This text aims to reflect on the return of face-to-face classes, the challenges we encountered and the search to welcome, diagnose and outline strategies to advance learning. We know that with emergency remote teaching (ERE) many students did not have full access to the content covered, due to various factors, which interfered with learning. The post-pandemic period was and is being a period of constant evaluation in order to diagnose what was learned and set new goals. In this sense, we use the term recomposition, not recovery, as it is considered that this term would not be applicable to our actions when returning to face-to-face activities, knowing that it was not possible to ensure and guarantee the necessary learning in an ERE context. We therefore present reflections on the experience carried out in a municipal school in Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, based on the proposal of the Municipal Education Network.
