Abstract: Homeopathy is a science developed by the German physician Samuel Hahnemann over 220 years ago and is the second most widely used health system in the world. The fundamentals of homeopathy are consistent with the principles of ecologically based agriculture and can make valuable contributions to management techniques by enabling a deeper understanding of imbalances and the natural path to ecological rebalancing, through the use of homeopathic preparations in the form of nosodes. The aim of these homeopathic preparations in the form of nosodes is to act directly on the agent causing the environmental disturbance, insect pests or plant diseases, to stimulate a response in the disturbed organism, to stimulate its recovery and restore its natural balance. In this way, homeopathic preparations essentially consider the complex interactions that exist within agro-ecosystems, using raw materials from the system itself, using nosodes, providing a suitable tool for promoting more sustainable agricultural models.
