A AGROECOLOGIA COMO FERRAMENTA DE SUSTENTABILIDADE SOCIOECONÔMICA E AMBIENTAL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DA UNIDADE DE CONSERVAÇÃO DA MATA ESCURA, MUNICÍPIO DE JEQUITINHONHA – MG
Localizada no município de Jequitinhonha - MG a Mata Escura é uma Unidade de Conservação Federal, inserida no grupo de Proteção Integral, criada como Reserva Biológica, com mais de 50 mil hectares de área o suficiente para garantir a proteção e preservação integral do ambiente natural, sem interferência humana ou quaisquer alterações ambientais. A preservação do meio ambiente constitui relevância sob os aspectos de natureza jurídica, ambiental, social e cultural, sendo sua prática uma responsabilidade a ser vivenciada por todos. Quando se tem uma maior consciência ecológica e agroecológica, tomam-se cuidado de preservar o pouco do que ainda se resta de propriedades naturais para se manter o equilíbrio ambiental. Pensando nisso o objetivo deste trabalho é desencadear reflexões, num processo de conscientização, partilhando dúvidas e intenções na busca de uma preservação adequada e comprometida com o meio ambiente hoje buscando dar um enfoque na Unidade de Conservação da Mata Escura no Município de Jequitinhonha – MG, e a importância de sua preservação sugerindo para tal o uso da Agroecologia.

Abstract:
Located in the municipality of Jequitinhonha - MG, Mata Escura is a Federal Conservation Unit, part of the Integral Protection group, created as a Biological Reserve, with more than 50 thousand hectares of area sufficient to guarantee the protection and integral preservation of the natural environment, without human interference or any environmental changes. The preservation of the environment is relevant under legal, environmental, social and cultural aspects, and its practice is a responsibility to be experienced by all. When one has a greater ecological and agroecological awareness, care is taken to preserve the little of what is still left of natural properties to maintain the environmental balance. With this in mind, the objective of this work is to trigger reflections, in a process of awareness, sharing doubts and intentions in the search for an adequate preservation and committed to the environment today seeking to focus on the Conservation Unit of the Dark Forest in the Municipality of Jequitinhonha - MG, and the importance of its preservation by suggesting the use of Agroecology.
