A AGROECOLOGIA COMO ESTRATÉGIA DE ENFRENTAMENTO À AGRICULTURA CONVENCIONAL NO ASSENTAMENTO TERRA Á VISTA, SUL DO ESTADO DA BAHIA.
Esse texto tem como objetivo apresentar o processo de transição da matriz de produção convencional para a Agroecologia, no Assentamento Terra Vista, no Município de Arataca-BA. Para tanto, foi usado como metodologia, rodas de conversa na escuta com os assentados do assentamento, que aceitaram o nosso convite, 18 no total. A decisão por assumir a Agroecologia foi tomada em assembleia, buscaram fazer parcerias com instituições que já acumulassem experiências nesta área, de modo, a assegurar a formação dos assentados na perspectiva de desenvolverem um modelo de agricultura capaz de assegurar a sustentabilidade dos assentados preservando a natureza. O assentamento se constitui como um espaço promissor no desenvolvimento de processos educativos, no que diz respeito da opção realizada a Agroecologia, no entanto, esse processo não se faz sem tensões. As tensões que emergem, entre os assentados, sobre esta opção, têm contribuído para o aprofundamento do debate e a busca de tecnologias que respondam com eficácia as questões colocadas pelos assentados que resistem à proposta.

Abstract:
This text aims to present the transition process from the conventional production matrix to Agroecology, in the Terra Vista Settlement, in the Municipality of Arataca-BA. To this end, it was used as a methodology, conversation circles in listening with the settlers of the settlement, who accepted our invitation, 18 in total. The decision to take on Agroecology was taken in assembly, they sought to form partnerships with institutions that had already accumulated experiences in this area, in order to ensure the formation of the settlers in the perspective of developing an agricultural model capable of ensuring the sustainability of the settlers while preserving nature . The settlement is a promising space in the development of educational processes, with regard to the option made to Agroecology, however, this process is not without tension. The tensions that emerge among the settlers about this option have contributed to the deepening of the debate and the search for technologies that effectively answer the questions raised by the settlers who resist the proposal.
