A AGRICULTURA ORGÂNICA E AGROECOLÓGICA NO MUNICÍPIO DE CANGUÇU, RIO GRANDE DO SUL, BRASIL: UMA REALIDADE EM CONSTRUÇÃO
Esta pesquisa, que aborda a evolução
da agricultura orgânica e agroecológica no
município de Canguçu, no Rio Grande do Sul,
objetiva identificar as principais características
dessa forma de produção. O contato direto com
os agricultores e consumidores do município
contribuiu para embasar o estudo que poderá
subsidiar os órgãos públicos na elaboração de
políticas voltadas à agricultura familiar, no que
tange a produção orgânica e agroecológica
no município. Metodologicamente, foram
entrevistados os agricultores que desenvolvem
a produção orgânica e agroecológica e os
consumidores desses produtos, nas feiras da
União das Associações Comunitárias do Interior
de Canguçu (UNAIC) e Associação Regional
dos Produtores Agroecológicos da Região Sul
(ARPA SUL

Abstract:
This research, which is about
the evolution of organic and agroecological
agriculture in the municipality of Canguçu, in
Rio Grande do Sul, aims to identify the main
characteristics of this production way. The
direct contact with the municipality farmers and
consumers, contributed to support the study
that could subsidize the public agencies in
the elaboration of public polices to the familiar
agriculture, in reference of the organic and
agroecological production in the municipality.
Methodologically, the interviewed were farmers,
who develop the organic and agroecological
production, and the consumers of these
products, at the fairs of União das Associações
Comunitárias do Interior de Canguçu (UNAIC)
and of Associação Regional dos Produtores
Agroecológicos da Região Sul (ARPA SUL).
