Abstract: This article discusses the reception of international migrant students in elementary education. Understands that the curriculum design, related to the student's experiences, should include identity, political and power relationship aspects, related to the purposes of inclusive social training. International and national norms bring a pragmatic discourse of inclusion of the migrant, especially regarding the right to education. In this context, the objective is to verify the alignment between the Common National Curriculum Base -BNCC (BRAZIL, 2017) and national and international standards in the face of the commitment to welcome migrant students in elementary education. It uses the inductive method, the qualitative approach, the bibliographic research technique, besides the Cartesian method in the treatment of the data. The results indicate that the reception requires educational actions that include personal, educational, cultural and methodological resources involving pedagogical aspects, coexistence, family-school relationship and school management.
