XXVI IBERO-AMERICAN CHEMISTRY OLYMPICS MEXICO 2022: DISTANCE “EXPERIMENTAL” EXAMINATION, PHYSICOCHEMISTRY-ORGANIC CHEMISTRY
This work presents the experimental exam carried out by students who participated in the XXVI Ibero-American Chemistry Olympiad, held virtually in 2022. In this exam, students were able to analyze an integrated experiment of two areas of chemistry: physical chemistry and organic chemistry. Based on what is described in the literature, they examined the kinetic data of a reaction SN2 and evaluated the description of the experimental steps of synthesis, isolation and purification of the product of this reaction.
