• Abstract: The results obtained from implementing programming activities aimed at strengthening the skills required to convert digital data into digital signals are presented. The study was conducted with Telecommunications students at the Tecnológico Nacional de México/Instituto Tecnológico de Minatitlán. These skills are essential for analyzing digital data transmission and serve as a foundation for the optimal configuration of networks in subsequent courses such as Computer Networks, Switching and Routing in Data Networks, as well as other subjects within the networking specialization. The findings indicate a positive impact on the learning of the targeted competency and the development of the associated skills.
