Abstract: The education system has changed entirely since the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, the aim was to maintain the student's attention and enhance their ability to learn in a self-taught way. Although there are teaching resources on the web, there are new proposals for teaching material to support the teacher and increase student learning. In this work, it is intended to show the usefulness of new digital resources for the student's self-taught learning for the subject of Synthesis and Reactivity of Organic Compounds, taught in the degree of Medicinal Chemistry Biology at the UAM Xochimilco, where the basic knowledge of Organic Chemistry. The resources are interactive videos on the Edpuzzle platform, with topics such as nomenclature, nucleophilic substitution reactions, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, and aromatic compounds, while on the Genially platform, the resource is used as guides to assign organic nomenclature. The development of digital resources applied to the Organic Chemistry syllabus constitutes a challenge for teaching, since not only must training be given in the field of knowledge, but also in pedagogy and in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), creative skills and the ability to meet learning objectives to promote the teaching-learning process.
