Abstract: Pott Tumor is a serious complication of frontal sinusitis characterized by subperiosteal abscess and osteomyelitis of the frontal bone, often associated with refractory rhinosinusitis and polymicrobial infections. The disease mainly affects the pediatric group, with a higher incidence in adolescence and peak at 11 years of age. Symptoms include intense and persistent headache, essentially in the frontal region associated with inflammatory signs, purulent anterior rhinorrhea, fever, photophobia and nasal congestion. The diagnosis is made by imaging tests and, because it is a medical emergency, there are serious associated complications, such as orbital cellulite and intracranial infections. The treatment involves the drainage of the subperiosteal abscess and, jointly, of the affected frontal sinus. This, in order to avoid complications such as meningitis, epidural abscess and cavernous sinus thrombosis.
