Abstract: Trichology has undergone significant transformations driven by advances in molecular biology, artificial intelligence, and digital health technologies. In this context, the concept of precision trichology has emerged, characterized by the integrated use of clinical, trichoscopic, genetic, and immunological biomarkers to individualize the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of hair disorders. Simultaneously, artificial intelligence-based tools have been incorporated into dermatological practice, enabling automated image analysis, pattern recognition, and prediction of therapeutic response. This study aimed to review current scientific evidence regarding the application of biomarkers, artificial intelligence, and personalized medicine in the management of major alopecias. A narrative literature review was conducted using PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases between 2019 and 2026. The analyzed studies demonstrate that the integration of these technologies has the potential to improve diagnostic accuracy, optimize therapeutic selection, and enhance clinical outcomes. Precision trichology represents one of the most promising trends in modern hair dermatology, although challenges remain regarding clinical validation, standardization, and accessibility.
