Abstract: The relationship between The world is witnessing a climate emergency that has deep impact on crops, cycles of rain or drought, desertification. When crops are lost or damaged whole populations are affected, specially the most vulnerable ones, causing inevitable hunger or even famine to a huge number of humans and other animals. Ironically, the most vulnerable are the most affected but the least responsible for the climate change. Still, poverty among that population is amplified. The methodology used is a bibliographic review (books, papers, official reports and statistical sources). The objective is to demonstrate the relation between climate change, hunger and poverty by means of statistics. It can be concluded that the relation between those variables is extremely well documented.
