Abstract: Objectives: To promote the usefulness of healthy side restraint therapy for the improvement of the hemiparetic upper limb of an adult patient after suffering a Cerebral Vascular Event. Design: The work is a compilation of information based in the effectiveness of healthy side restraint therapy in patients with EVC In a sample of 10 articles of systematic reviews, meta-analysis and clinical articles. Results and Conclusions: Healthy Side Restraint Therapy is as effective as other conventional therapies for the rehabilitation of hemiparesis caused by EVC; since it has had good results at the level of scientific evidence that is being obtained, as long as the application protocols are taken care.
