This article aims to elucidate the main characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of using telemonitoring of arterial hypertension. In addition to understanding the structure of the unified health system (SUS) and how the monitoring of patients with hypertension is carried out, evaluating the feasibility of carrying out telemonitoring in the public health system.
