BONE FIXATION TECHNIQUES IN THE TREATMENT OF COMPLEX FRACTURES IN TRAUMA SURGERY
In this chapter we present some of the osteosynthesis techniques used in the most common complex fractures. We separate the main fractures by region: lower limbs, upper limbs and pelvis. The fractures were classified according to AO classifications and eponyms. The aim of this chapter is to describe to medical students the different surgical techniques used in complex fractures in order to promote bone healing.
