SUPERVISION IN RADIOLOGY: PRESCRIBED WORK AND THE REAL

• Abstract:

  The objective of this study is to analyze the activities of the Supervisor of Applications of Radiological Techniques (SATR) in a radiology service in Santa Catarina. The research is qualitative, exploratory and is a case study. For the development of the research, the Ergonomic Analysis of Work (AET) was used, being approached the analysis of the activities. It can be concluded that there are divergences between the prescribed and the real work, as well as the professionals' lack of knowledge about how to proceed regarding the SATR function, and various demands of the work process. In addition, the roles of SATR and Radiological Protection Supervisor (SPR) are confused.
