Abstract: Zenker's diverticula are considered false diverticula; they are generally located in the hypopharynx, within the area of low resistance known as Killian's triangle. Although they are more common in males and individuals over the age of 60, risk factors are not well defined, with the exception of esophageal motility disorders. In most cases, they are asymptomatic. The typical symptom is dysphagia. Other associated manifestations include regurgitation and weight loss. Contrast-enhanced radiographic examination of the esophagus provides 95% diagnostic accuracy. We present an unusual case of a patient with a Zenker's diverticulum, hiatal hernia, and thyroid nodules that were diagnosed simultaneously.
