RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEADERS' ATTITUDES AND THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN PLANNING EXECUTION

The present work has the objective of analyzing the relationship between the attitudes of the leaders with the degree of efficiency and the degree of effectiveness in the execution of the planning of the business strategies, highlighting the existing relationship between them. for this, a survey was carried out with 20 leaders of medium-sized companies in the state of São Paulo, representatives of the commerce, industry and services sectors. It was possible to conclude that the time management carried out by the leaders and the subordinates, the knowledge of what the goals are and how to execute them, the cadence of execution of the planning by the teams and the frequency of monitoring of the execution carried out by the leaders; they are directly related to the degree of efficiency and the degree of effectiveness of the execution. Other attitudes, such as having a systemic view of the business, and being committed and responsible for the goals, were not directly related to the degrees of efficiency and effectiveness, although they are important for the companies.
