Epistemological questions about art
For a long time, it was customary to place art within the scope of doxa, while science and philosophy fit within the universe of episteme. Recent studies related to cognitive sciences and contemporary epistemology suggest that art also needs to be considered from the point of view of the episteme, as the knowledge produced by art contains specific truths that contribute to the understanding of the objective reality of the world and the subjective reality of humanity.

Abstract:
For a long time, it was customary to place art within the scope of doxa, while science and philosophy fit within the universe of episteme. Recent studies related to cognitive sciences and contemporary epistemology suggest that art also needs to be considered from the point of view of the episteme, as the knowledge produced by art contains specific truths that contribute to the understanding of the objective reality of the world and the subjective reality of humanity.
