INTEGRAL INTERVENTION PROTOCOL WITH ECOLOGICAL VALIDITY FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN WITH A DIAGNOSIS OF HEMIPARESIA ASSOCIATED WITH CEREBRAL PALSY
Objetivo: Diseñar un protocolo de intervención integral con validez ecológica para niños en etapa escolar con diagnóstico de hemiparesia asociada a parálisis cerebral en Cali-Colombia. Método y materiales: Estudio mixto realizado a través de un diseño explicativo secuencial de dos momentos (DEXPLIS-2); el cual estuvo organizado en una etapa cuantitativa (descriptiva) y una etapa cualitativa (etnometodológica). Se realizó revisiones bibliográficas (n=30), entrevistas estructuradas a profesionales (n=50), entrevista semiestructurada a familiares (n=2), acompañantes (n=2), cuidadores (n=2), niños (n=2) y expertos con experiencia en neurorehabilitación (n=5). Entre los instrumentos se incluyeron, formato RAE, encuesta de percepciones, guion conversatorio y formato de validación. Resultados: Tres módulos de ejercicios (sensorio, sensoriomotores, integrativos, productivos, facilitadores) conectados en forma bi y tri dimensional, organizados en tres niveles, adecuados al contexto en materiales, instrucciones y espacio y con validación de contenido (RCV = 0.90). Conclusiones: Los protocolos de intervención integral tienen como características, (1) evidencias científicas que soporten la realización de las actividades; (2) experiencias de los actores sobre los materiales y las instrucciones a usar en la intervención; (3) reconocimiento del contexto más favorable para desarrollarlas; y (4) validación experiencial de cada ejercicio por expertos.

Abstract:

Bibliographic reviews (n=30), structured interviews with professionals (n=50), semi-structured interviews with family members (n=2), companions (n=2), caregivers (n=2), children (n=2) were carried out. and experts with experience in neurorehabilitation (n=5). The instruments included the RAE format, perception survey, conversation script, and validation format. Results: Three exercise modules (sensory, sensorimotor, integrative, productive, facilitators) connected in a two- and three-dimensional way, organized in three levels, appropriate to the context in terms of materials, instructions, and space, and with content validation (RCV = 0.90). Conclusions: The integral intervention protocols have as characteristics, (1) scientific evidence that supports the performance of the activities; (2) experiences of the actors on the materials and instructions to be used in the intervention; (3) recognition of the most favorable context to develop them; and (4) experiential validation of each exercise by experts.
