Abstract: This study aims to develop a proposal for educational intervention based on the identification, through field research, of the main learning difficulties in high school at the Oswaldo Cruz High School in Humaitá, Amazonas, starting from the analysis of the main learning difficulties in high school presented at the school. The methodology was based on a literature review of the main theoretical approaches on the subject and field research with twenty teachers, most of whom had specializations, using a questionnaire via Google Forms and semi-structured interviews, applied individually. The results showed that the teachers at the school studied understand learning difficulties, but not all aspects related to each of them, demonstrating a certain inconsistency in knowledge about the possible unfolding of each type of problem, which end up being essential to support a more adequate pedagogical practice in order to effectively involve their students. It can be concluded that the learning process is not always student-centered and in many cases is directly associated with the way the teacher teaches the class and the resources that can make it more attractive to contribute to this learning. In this case, it is of great importance to know the types and rhythms of student learning and to identify the possible causes of learning difficulties, adopting strategies capable of working with students who present difficulties.
