Abstract: The production of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis Sims) has significant economic and social importance in Brazil, especially in semiarid regions, where it represents an important income-generation alternative for family farming. However, these regions face natural limitations such as water scarcity, high temperatures, and low soil fertility, which require the adoption of sustainable management practices. This study aims to analyze, through a literature review, the main strategies for sustainable passion fruit production in semiarid regions. The methodology was based on the selection and analysis of scientific articles published between 2022 and 2026, retrieved from national and international databases. The results indicate that crop sustainability is associated with efficient irrigation use, especially localized systems, the adoption of soil conservation practices, the use of organic fertilization and bioinputs, as well as the utilization of agro-industrial residues. It is concluded that the integration of these practices contributes to increased productivity, reduced environmental impacts, and strengthened sustainability of production systems in the Brazilian semiarid region.
