Abstract: Objective: Review the most common oral conditions in children and adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP). Methods: Bibliographic research was conducted using the PubMed and Scielo databases, with the descriptors "Oral Health" and "Cerebral Palsy." Articles published within the last 10 years were included, they were available in full text, in English or Portuguese and involved samples ranging from birth to 18 years of age. Result: The studies indicated that the children and adolescents evaluated showed high rates of cavities, periodontal disease, malocclusion and bruxism, which can be explained by their reduced motor abilities and the consumption of liquid or soft diets, leading to greater difficulty in oral hygiene and increased plaque accumulation in the oral cavity. Additionally, a higher prevalence of these conditions was observed in patients with lower educational levels. Conclusion: Thus, dental caries, periodontal disease, malocclusion, and bruxism are the main oral health complications in children and adolescents with CP. Therefore, greater attention to the oral health of these patients is necessary, as well as the availability of qualified professionals to ensure that, through appropriate guidance and treatment, these patients can achieve an improved quality of life.
