INTEGRATIVE AND COMPLEMENTARY HEALTH PRACTICES
The present study aims to reflect on the importance of Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (ICHPs), highlighting their transformative role in the context of health care. To this end, a theoretical-empirical investigation was carried out, based on a qualitative literature review, which identified the relevance of this advance in stimulating new ways of learning and practicing care, promoting a more comprehensive and humanized approach. The results obtained highlight measures that benefit both allopathic practitioners and holistic therapists, emphasizing the centrality of relationships, involvement, and safety in clinical decisions, as well as the need for adequate and accessible information sharing between healthcare teams and clients.
