The role and performance of the State and multilateral organizations set the tone for the privatization of higher education in Brazil. In this context, the Social Service is not exempt from possible repercussions of privatization in the training and performance of the social worker. Therefore, in a unique way, it is intended to present data on higher education institutions and training in Social Work in the North region and especially a survey carried out with professionals in the State of Rondônia in relation to conducting research in Social Work as a private attribution.
