• Abstract: FDIC International 2025, held April 7-12 in Indianapolis, Indiana, is North America’s largest conference and trade show for firefighting and rescue professionals. The event attracted more than 36,500 attendees and featured over 800 exhibitors and 250 speakers. FDIC 2025 has emerged as an essential meeting place for firefighters from various regions, offering a unique platform for professional development, hands-on training, and experience sharing. Highlights of the event included: Hands-on Training (H.O.T. Evolutions); Workshops and Classroom Sessions; Technological Innovation: Presentation of new equipment and technologies, such as electric vehicles and data-based command systems, essential for modernizing firefighting operations. Participating in FDIC 2025 was a unique opportunity for firefighters to update themselves, improve their skills and strengthen ties with colleagues, contributing to a safer and more efficient service. Colonel Orleilso Muniz, commander of CBMAM, participated and gave an interview about his experience.
