Abstract: This article presents the results of research conducted between 2018 and 2019 during a postdoctoral program and upgraded in April 2026. The study focuses on the confessions and concerns of pedagogy students and recently graduated pedagogues, including my own participation, addressing our learning processes and perceptions of relationships between outsiders and the established within UFPB. Datas were collected through intensive direct observations, focus groups, recordings, and written testimonies. The main objective was to analyze forms of interaction and belonging both embodied and symbolic within formal, informal and family member groups. Specifically, the study aimed to identify factors related to identity construction, sense of belonging, critical awareness, and diverse perceptions of reality; to recognize attitudes and feelings that foster cohesion and affective bonds; and to interpret barriers that limit knowledge exchange and interaction in the academic environment. The theoretical framework includes Norbert Elias, John L. Scotson, Robert J. Brym, Celso Castro, Tomaz Tadeu da Silva, and Marcia Tiburi. Findings highlight group dialogue as a transformative space that strengthens political action, while reaffirming UFPB as a key center for intellectual and critical development.
