Inaugurado em agosto de 2025 no Bairro das Flores, em Benevides, o Território Protetivo é uma iniciativa de urbanismo social que transforma o espaço urbano em um ambiente seguro e acolhedor para a Primeira Infância. Baseado na metodologia Urban95, o projeto integra educação, saúde e assistência social, focando na segurança dos trajetos escolares e na naturalização de pátios, visando o desenvolvimento infantil e a proteção comunitária. O modelo foca em urbanismo tático com pátios naturalizados de baixo custo e alta replicabilidade, transformando o planejamento urbano sob a perspectiva das crianças ("ótica dos 95cm") para garantir segurança viária, educação e bem-estar social.

  • Abstract: Launched in August 2025 in the Bairro das Flores neighborhood in Benevides, the Protective Territory (Território Protetivo) is a social urbanism initiative that transforms urban spaces into safe and welcoming environments for Early Childhood. Based on the Urban95 methodology, the project integrates education, health, and social assistance, focusing on safe school commutes and the naturalization of playgrounds to promote child development and community protection. The model prioritizes tactical urbanism with low-cost, highly replicable naturalized courtyards, reshaping urban planning through a child's perspective (the "95cm lens") to ensure road safety, education, and social well-being.
