Abstract: The implementation of educational meliponaries in educational institutions represents a strategy for developing diverse skills and raising environmental awareness. Vocational and technological education aims to combine theory and practice, promoting a comprehensive education that prepares students for the world of work, research, and citizenship. Therefore, innovative pedagogical practices that integrate scientific, technical, and environmental knowledge are increasingly necessary for the development of multiple skills. This study aims to analyze the use of meliponaries as a didactic-pedagogical tool in vocational and technological education in Brazil, identifying their main contributions to technical education. Based on a literature review, we analyzed works that demonstrate the contributions of educational meliponaries to the training of technical students. The results indicate that this practice promotes meaningful learning, fosters research on biodiversity and management, and empowers communities, standing out as environments conducive to interdisciplinarity and socio-environmental awareness.
