The use of the tower of Hanoi in vocational education of youths and adults

The use of accessible and diversified teaching tools for contextualized and professional learning in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) should be encouraged and debated in accordance with consolidated pedagogical foundations. The aim of this research was to analyze the contribution of the Tower of Hanoi game as a means of achieving sustained and long-lasting learning in mathematics. In order to achieve the problem defined, qualitative and quantitative research was used, in which a semi-structured questionnaire was used with closed and open questions, with a descriptive approach, having a bibliographic and field design, emphasizing that the sample was made up of ninety-one students and fourteen teachers from public educational institutions in Salvador, Bahia, having a probabilistic simple random sampling. The conclusion is that the use of games based on the Tower of Hanoi was the right way to stimulate the learning of these students.
