NEUROSYPHILIS WITH MANIA AS THE ONLY PRESENTATION: CASE REPORT
Syphilis is a disease that affects about 12 million people worldwide. In tertiary syphilis, Treponema pallidum affects the central nervous system and may be responsible for several neurological and psychiatric disorders. This article aimed to describe a case of mania as the only clinical presentation in a patient subsequently diagnosed with neurosyphilis.
