URBAN MOBILITY OF STUDENTS AT A HIGHER-LEVEL INSTITUTION
Urban displacement in an accessible way for students is one of the factors that contribute to the sustainability of transport. To this end, the National Policy for Sustainable Urban Mobility has been instituted, which advocates transportation models that have less impact on the environment and people. The municipality of Indaiatuba/SP, when implementing structures to facilitate mobility, moved the Bus Terminal to the Santos Dumont Highway, which affected the way Fatec Indaiatuba students move around, and the use of mobility applications, which may have modified the way of getting around for many students in order to reduce costs and be more practical. This work aimed to raise the forms of urban mobility of the students of the technology course in business management at Fatec Indaiatuba and verify how much this represents in their monthly budget and suggest alternatives for sustainable urban mobility. The methodological route was exploratory research, with a survey together with Fatec Indaiatuba students regarding urban mobility. Most students use to get around by car, followed by the use of public transport.
