Abstract: The increasing complexity of corporate networks and cybersecurity environments has intensified the need for methodologies capable of improving operational workflows, reducing rework, prioritizing critical events, and enhancing incident response efficiency. Although the technical literature explores Lean applications in manufacturing, software development, DevOps, and IT service management, its specific application to the integrated operation of SOC (Security Operations Center) and NOC (Network Operations Center) still requires further conceptual systematization, especially when related to SIEM, SOAR, Artificial Intelligence, and operational maturity indicators. In this context, this article analyzes how Lean principles can be reinterpreted and applied to SOC and NOC operations in corporate networks. The study adopts a qualitative, exploratory, and technical- conceptual approach, developed through bibliographic and normative review. It correlates Lean principles, IT service management practices, information security incident management, and security operations tools. The article discusses how classic Lean wastes, such as waiting, rework, overproduction, defects, inventory, overprocessing, responsibility transfer, and underutilized talent, can be translated into the context of digital infrastructure. The study concludes that Lean can contribute to the operational maturity of SOC and NOC by reducing noise, delays, false positives, accumulated vulnerabilities, recurring failures, and low-value analytical activities, provided that its application preserves governance, traceability, security, resilience, and service continuity.
