Abstract: Trauma remains a major global cause of morbidity and mortality, requiring rapid and structured clinical management. This study aimed to analyze scientific evidence regarding anesthetic management in polytrauma patients. A systematized literature review was conducted using PubMed, SciELO, and LILACS databases, including studies published between 2018 and 2025. Twenty-five articles addressing anesthetic strategies, hemodynamic resuscitation, airway management, and analgesia in severe trauma patients were included. The results demonstrated that early hemorrhage control, hemodynamic stabilization, and neurological protection represent fundamental pillars of anesthetic management in trauma care. Additionally, multimodal analgesic strategies and advanced hemodynamic monitoring showed positive impact on patient safety and clinical outcomes. In conclusion, anesthetic management in polytrauma patients requires a multidisciplinary approach based on structured protocols and updated scientific evidence.
