LA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 Y SU IMPACTO EN LA SALUD DE LAS MUJERES
La historia de la humanidad está marcada por varios hechos que le han dejado huella, algunos de esos momentos lo han sido las epidemias y pandemias que ha sufrido a través de los años, una de esa pandemia es la generada por el COVID-19 la cual fue reconocida como tal por la OMS el 11 de marzo del 2020 y que desde entonces ha dejado miles de defunciones, secuelas y trastornos en la sociedad global. Bajo este contexto crítico, las mujeres han sido de las más afectadas debido a los esquemas culturales, sociales y estructurales que han persisten en muchos lugares del planeta; debido a cuestiones de genero son las que han estado cargando históricamente con el cuidado del hogar, la mayoría de las vece sin recibir ninguna remuneración económica por ello, situación que incluye cuidado del esposo, hijos, hijas, personas mayores y bajo la situación de la salud-enfermedad también de los enfermos. Otro aspecto que también ha repercutido en ellas, lo es el aspecto laboral remunerativo del personal femenino que labora en el sector salud, pues por las funciones que realizan se encuentran en la primera línea de atención, sumado a este trabajo, tienen que cargar con sus actividades domésticas y la situación del cierre de centros de cuidado infantil. Uno de los aspectos más preocupantes, es la disminución en los espacios de atención médica para aspectos de salud sexual y de atención a embrazadas debido al desvío de recursos y personal hacia los departamentos y programas para atender la pandemia del COVID-19.

Abstract:
The history of humanity is marked by several events that have left their mark, some of these moments have been the epidemics and pandemics that have suffered over the years, one of these pandemics is the one generated by the COVID-19 which was recognized as such by the OMS on March 11, 2020 and since then has left thousands of deaths, sequels and disorders in the global society. Under this critical context, women have been the most affected due to the social and structural cultural patterns that have persisted in many parts of the world; due to gender issues, they are the ones who have been historically burdened with the care of the home, most of the time without receiving any economic remuneration for it, a situation that includes caring for the husband, sons, daughters, elderly and under the situation of health-illness also of the sick. Another aspect that has also had an impact on them is the remunerative labor aspect of the female personnel working in the health sector, since due to the functions they perform they are in the first line of care, in addition to this work, they have to carry their domestic activities and the situation of the closing of child care centers. One of the most worrisome aspects is the decrease in health care spaces for sexual health and pregnancy care due to the diversion of resources and personnel to departments and programs to address the COVID-19 pandemic.
