La presente investigación analiza la integración de tecnologías digitales en los modelos educativos y el currículo universitario desde una perspectiva humanista, tomando como caso de estudio la carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales del Tecnológico Nacional de México, Instituto Tecnológico de Minatitlán. El estudio surge ante la necesidad de reflexionar sobre cómo las herramientas digitales fortalecen el aprendizaje y, al mismo tiempo, contribuyen a la formación integral de los estudiantes. Actualmente, las instituciones de educación superior enfrentan el reto de adaptarse a los constantes avances tecnológicos y a las nuevas exigencias del entorno profesional. En este contexto, las tecnologías digitales se han convertido en elementos fundamentales dentro de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, especialmente en áreas relacionadas con la ingeniería y la computación. La investigación analiza la manera en que estas tecnologías se integran dentro del currículo universitario y su impacto en la formación académica y humana de los estudiantes. Asimismo, se destaca la importancia de promover una educación que no solo fortalezca competencias técnicas, sino también valores, pensamiento crítico, responsabilidad social y trabajo colaborativo. Los resultados permiten identificar que el uso adecuado de herramientas digitales favorece procesos de aprendizaje más dinámicos, participativos y significativos, contribuyendo al desarrollo integral de los futuros profesionistas. Finalmente, se concluye que la integración de tecnologías digitales representa una oportunidad para fortalecer la calidad educativa, siempre que su implementación se realice mediante estrategias pedagógicas centradas en el estudiante y orientadas hacia una formación humanista.

  • Abstract: This research analyzes the integration of digital technologies into educational models and the university curriculum from a humanistic perspective, taking as a case study the Computer Systems Engineering program at the Tecnológico Nacional de México, Instituto Tecnológico de Minatitlán. The study arises from the need to reflect on how digital tools strengthen learning while also contributing to the integral development of students. Currently, higher education institutions face the challenge of adapting to constant technological advances and the new demands of the professional environment. In this context, digital technologies have become fundamental elements within teaching and learning processes, especially in areas related to engineering and computing. The research examines how these technologies are integrated into the university curriculum and their impact on the academic and human development of students. Likewise, it highlights the importance of promoting an education that not only strengthens technical competencies, but also fosters values, critical thinking, social responsibility, and collaborative work. The results show that the appropriate use of digital tools promotes more dynamic, participatory, and meaningful learning processes, contributing to the integral development of future professionals. Finally, it is concluded that the integration of digital technologies represents an opportunity to strengthen educational quality, provided that their implementation is carried out through student-centered pedagogical strategies oriented toward a humanistic education.
