Esta reflexión científica sobre “La evaluación del desempeño profesional docente, principio del rendimiento estudiantil”, tiene como propósito, apoyar a la toma de conciencia del docente acerca de la contundente incidencia de la evaluación del desempeño profesional docente, como un mecanismo de impulso a la actividad académica del profesional de la educación para renovar sus esfuerzos en búsqueda de la tan ansiada mejora académica en sus estudiantes, principio y final de la labor docente, análisis extendido al docente deseoso de actualizar sus concepciones profesionales sobre un tema de permanente actualidad.

    This scientific reflection on “The evaluation of teacher professional performance, principle of student performance”, has the purpose of supporting teacher awareness about the overwhelming impact of the evaluation of teacher professional performance, as a mechanism to promote academic activity of the education professional to renew his efforts in search of the long-awaited academic improvement in his students, beginning and end of the teaching work, analysis extended to the teacher eager to update his professional conceptions on a topic of permanent relevance.
