Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Notary Office Management: Improving and Optimizing the Work of Notaries in Salvador

  It is widely known that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a routine tool in a wide range of professions, leading to exponential reductions in tasks considered bureaucratic or, at the very least, unintuitive. These advancements have short-, medium-, and long-term implications, making it pertinent to develop proposals aimed at optimizing the current situation within the Salvador notary context. The role of the clerk can be strengthened through technological changes in their work, improving the use of their time and developing mechanisms to transform the traditional practices of this group, particularly in the completion of police reports (B.O.s). The objective of this manuscript is to assess the relevance of AI in filling out police reports, thereby facilitating clerks’ commitment to protecting the residents of Salvador. A literature review was conducted, encompassing articles from 2021 to 2026 with at least one author holding a Ph.D. and with Portuguese as the primary language. It is observed that the clerk’s work management is strengthened through the alliance with Artificial Intelligence, qualitatively influencing the development of a new path that prioritizes progressive optimization in Salvador.
