INSTRUMENTOS ROTATORIOS EN LA ODONTOPEDIATRÍA ACTUAL. REVISIÓN DE LA LITERATURA
Se realizó este artículo con el propósito de transmitir a profesionales Odontólogos en especial a Odontopediatras sobre las ventajas que nos ofrecen los instrumentos rotatorios al momento de realizar terapias pulpares en comparación con las técnicas tradicionales manuales que se realizaban en niños, basándonos en información ya publicada por un sin número de investigadores y profesionales en el área tratada. En cuanto a la metodología utilizada, se realizó una investigación descriptiva con un diseño documental, recolectando información por medio de un análisis detallado bibliográfico. En términos generales, se concluyó que el uso de los instrumentos rotatorios en Odontopediatría le ofrece al operador muchos beneficios en cuanto al tiempo de trabajo y manejo del paciente pediátrico con una mejor aceptación de los tratamientos pulpares. En donde gracias al avance de la tecnología endodóntica al ofrecer estos instrumentos morfológicamente más precisos, con excelentes propiedades inherentes de níquel-titanio, permite al especialista realizar un tratamiento considerado anteriormente como difícil y asumir mayor variedad de casos, considerados antes como verdaderos desafíos. Siendo la principal ventaja de estos sistemas rotatorios la mayor rapidez en la instrumentación, principalmente en conductos radiculares atrésicos y curvos de molares, siendo para el profesional menos agotador y, por lo tanto, con menor fatiga, traduciéndose en una gran aceptación de los mismos, lo que conlleva a una posible disminución de exodoncias prematuras de órganos dentales deciduos, ayudando a prevenir muchos problemas en el desarrollo de las estructuras craneofaciales ocasionadas en su gran mayoría por estas exodoncias prematuras.

Abstract:
This article was written with the purpose of transmitting to dental professionals, especially pediatric dentists, about the advantages that rotary instruments offer us when performing pulp therapy compared to traditional manual techniques that were performed on children, based on information already published by a number of researchers and professionals in the treated area. Regarding the methodology used, descriptive research was carried out with a documentary design, collecting information through a detailed bibliographic analysis. In general terms, it was concluded that the use of rotary instruments in Pediatric Dentistry offers the operator many benefits in terms of working time and handling of the pediatric patient with a better acceptance of pulp treatments. Where, thanks to the advancement of endodontic technology, by offering these morphologically more precise instruments, with excellent inherent nickel-titanium properties, it allows the specialist to perform a treatment previously considered difficult and to assume a greater variety of cases, previously considered to be real challenges. The main advantage of these rotary systems being the faster instrumentation, mainly in the atresic root canals and curved molars, being less tiring for the professional and, therefore, with less fatigue, translating into a great acceptance of the same. which leads to a possible decrease in premature extractions of deciduous dental organs, helping to prevent many problems in the development of craniofacial structures caused mostly by these premature extractions.
