Abstract: Introduction: Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain condition whose main characteristic is widespread pain, causing fatigue and negatively impacting women’s quality of life. Aquatic physiotherapy is a physiotherapeutic method with benefits proven in the scientific literature. Regarding fibromyalgia, it has been highlighted as an effective therapeutic approach, promoting pain relief and functional improvement, contributing positively to these women’s quality of life. Objective: To analyze the benefits of aquatic physiotherapy on the quality of life of women with fibromyalgia. Materials and Methods: An integrative literature review conducted using the databases SciELO, PubMed, LILACS, and Google Scholar, including studies published in Portuguese and English.Results: Among the analyzed studies, relevant evidence was observed indicating aquatic physiotherapy as one of the main treatments for fibromyalgia. Since it is performed in a heated aquatic environment, aquatic physiotherapy promotes muscle relaxation and reduction of pain symptoms, resulting in improved quality of life. Scientific Contribution: To clearly and objectively highlight how aquatic physiotherapy can restore quality of life in women with fibromyalgia through techniques that improve pain symptoms and functional capacity. Conclusion: It is concluded that aquatic physiotherapy has great relevance in the treatment of fibromyalgia due to the properties provided by the heated environment, standing out as an effective complementary therapeutic resource in reducing pain and improving quality of life.
