EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ROUTE 3 (SAN GABRIEL- GUAYAQUIL) IN THE UNITS OF THE SEÑOR DE LOS MILAGROS TRANSPORTATION COOPERATIVE
El desarrollo del tema evaluación del cumplimiento para la ruta 3 (San Gabriel-
Guayaquil y viceversa) en las unidades de la cooperativa de transporte Señor de
los Milagros del cantón Daule, evidencia la situación actual de la demanda de
usuarios que utilizan esta ruta, así como las características, nivel de ocupación de
las unidades y en consecuencia proponer alternativas para que los habitantes del
recinto San Gabriel se conviertan en usuarios permanentes de la operadora. En el
contexto se estableció el diseño de un estudio metodológico, basado en la
investigación documental, de campo, descriptiva y explicativa, con enfoque mixto,
utilizando la técnica de los aforos de ascensos y descensos de usuarios, además
que se determinó el total de la población de 3.660 personas, el mismo que sirvió
para aplicar la fórmula estadística y obtener la muestra de 347 personas, las
cuales se encuestaron. En cuanto a los resultados de los aforos se observó que el
recorrido cuenta con varios tramos, que establecen ascensos y descensos cuyo
factor de ocupación fue del 44,13% y 9,27% de usuarios en los dos sentidos. En
las encuestas se evidencio la necesidad de contar con un modo de transporte que

oferte un servicio seguro y de calidad. Finalmente, se planteó alternativas de
mejora para la prestación del servicio mismas que van encaminadas en cumplir las
frecuencias establecidas, disminuir los tiempos de viaje y espera y mejorar la
atención por parte de los operadores.

Abstract:
The development of the issue evaluation of compliance for route 3 (San Gabriel-Guayaquil and vice versa) in the units of the Señor de los Milagros transport cooperative of the Daule canton, evidencethe current situation ofthe demand of users who use this route, as well as the characteristics, level of occupation of the units and consequentlypropose alternatives so that the inhabitants of the San Gabriel compound become permanent users of the operator. In the context, the design of a methodological study was established, based on documentary, field, descriptive and explanatory research, with a mixed approach, using the technique of user promotion and descent ratings, in addition to determining the total number of population of 3,660 people, the same one that served to apply the statistical formula and obtain the sample of 347 people, which were surveyed. Regarding the results of the gauging, it was observed that the route has several sections, which establish ascents and descents whose load factor was 44.13% and 9.27% of users in both directions. In the surveys, the need for a mode of transport that offers a safe and quality service was evidenced. Finally, improvement alternatives were proposed for the provision of the service, which are aimed at complying with the established frequencies, reducing travel and waiting times and improving the attention from the operators.
