Learning Styles Among the 2025–2029 Cohort of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology Students at the Autonomous University of Campeche

• Abstract:

  An analysis of learning styles was conducted using the Honey and Alonso classification, also known as CHAEA, among first-year students of the 2025 cohort in the Pharmaceutical Biologist program at the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences of the Autonomous University of Campeche ( ). The results showed that the predominant styles in all groups were Reflective and Theoretical, according to the learning styles survey by P. Honey and A. Mumford (CHAEA) administered to the students. The results are analyzed to serve as a learning strategy aimed at strengthening the learning process, thereby contributing to improved academic performance at the higher education level.
