The theoretical bases of the article defend the need to teach multimodality through textual genres, and the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base), when addressing aspects linked to the teaching of the Portuguese Language, proposes the advertisement and the infographic as guidelines when dealing with of teaching aimed at the final years. The methodology is an action research proposal. The implementation takes place with a didactic sequence to be applied in Portuguese language classes from 6th to 9th year, in face-to-face or remote format. The proposal can be adapted for other levels of education. As the research is proposed, the results will come when applied in the classroom.
