EL ÍNDICE DE COMPETITIVIDAD EN LA INDUSTRIA AUTOMOTRIZ EN GUANAJUATO EN 2019
En el presente proyecto de investigación se presentan los resultados del estudio de competitividad de la industria automotriz en el estado de Guanajuato, para lo cual se utilizó el instrumento de medición diseñado por Delfín & Bonales
La primera etapa del estudio consistió en aplicar encuestas a personal que labora en dicha industria, esto con el fin de recabar información por medio de un pilotaje que permitiera evaluar la fiabilidad del instrumento de medición, los resultados obtenidos permiten dar continuidad en la aplicación del instrumento. Posteriormente se analizó una muestra total de 54 unidades económicas del estado de Guanajuato entre las que se encontraron TIER1, TIER2, TIER3, industria complementaria y armadoras. Considerando los datos anteriores se construyó el índice de competitividad por medio del Parcial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) y la fórmula abreviada de Fournier & Garner
Los resultados obtenidos para este estudio permitió identificar que la industria automotriz cuenta con un nivel de competitividad promedio del 67.67%, principalmente el componente de políticas públicas tiene un índice promedio de 58-29% en promedio, por lo tanto al relacionar la variable de políticas públicas con el índice de competitividad el valor de R es de .42 lo que significa que la variable no explica adecuadamente al índice, cabe señalar que esta variable recabó información relacionada con los apoyos que gobierno emite a dicha industria, donde estadísticas recabadas en el análisis situacional de la industria permitió observar el notable incremento de la inversión extranjera.

Abstract:
In the present research project the results of the competitiveness study of the automotive industry in the state of Guanajuato are presented, for which the measurement instrument designed by Delfín & Bonales (2014) was used because it focuses on variables such as quality , technological innovation, environmental management, market, public policies and price, to describe the term competitiveness.
The first stage of the study consisted of applying surveys to personnel working in this industry, this in order to collect information by means of a pilot that would allow to evaluate the reliability of the measurement instrument, the results obtained allow continuity in the application of the instrument .
Subsequently, a total sample of 54 economic units from the state of Guanajuato was analyzed, among which were TIER1, TIER2, TIER3, complementary industry and assembly companies. Considering the above data, the competitiveness index was constructed by means of the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and the abbreviated formula of Fournier & Garner (1990) for the transformation of variable scores.
The results obtained for this study allowed to identify that the automotive industry has an average level of competitiveness of 67.67%, mainly the public policy component has an average index of 58-29% on average, therefore when relating the policy variable With the competitiveness index, the value of R is .42, which means that the variable does not adequately explain the index, it should be noted that this variable gathered information related to the support that the government issues to the industry, where statistics collected in the analysis Situation of the industry allowed to observe the remarkable increase of foreign investment.
