EL IMPACTO DE LA CUARTA REVOLUCIÓN INDUSTRIAL EN LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR
En el Foro Económico Mundial de Davos, Suiza, 2016 se comenzó a mencionar el término “Cuarta Revolución Industrial” (4RI) referido a la época en que se produce una fuerte convergencia de nuevas tecnologías.
A partir de ese momento comienza a ser necesario que la educación se enfoque, además de la evolución de los procesos educativos y los desarrollos de la 4RI, en aspectos relacionados con “El Futuro del Trabajo y el Trabajo del Futuro”, y la reinvención de las organizaciones. Resulta necesario, además, contar con una visión prospectiva sobre los conceptos nacientes que se comienzan a definir como Industria 5.0., lo que se ha visto fuertemente acelerado desde comienzos del 2020 por las exigencias surgidas que enfrentó la población mundial con la pandemia del COVID 19.
Para poder profundizar en el impacto que la 4RI ejerce sobre la educación, se partió investigando el estado de desarrollo y aplicación de las herramientas que surgieron durante ese periodo. Del análisis de la información compilada, surge una matriz donde se pueden observar esas herramientas y sus campos de acción e impacto, aportando una visión acerca de la aplicación de las diferentes tecnologías existentes. Luego, con un esquema general definido, se buscó precisar cuáles de ellas se veían reflejadas en los servicios 4.0 destinados a la educación.
Los docentes, como una parte activa y fundamental de la educación, serán quienes tengan la misión de repensar modos de formar a futuros profesionales, proponiendo una nueva estructura curricular y académica tanto entre asignaturas, como entre carreras de acuerdo con los requerimientos de cada orientación.

Abstract:
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, 2016, the term “Fourth Industrial Revolution” (4IR) began to be mentioned, referring to the time when it arises a strong convergence of new technologies.
From that moment, it becomes necessary for education to be focused, in addition to the evolution of educational processes and the developments of the 4RI, in aspects related to "The Future of Work and the Work of the Future", and the reinvention of the organizations. It is also necessary to have a prospective vision of the nascent concepts that are beginning to be defined as Industry 5.0., which has been strongly accelerated since the beginning of 2020 due to the demands that the world population faced with the COVID 19 pandemic.
In order to deepen the impact that the 4RI exerts on education, we started by investigating the state of development and application of the tools that emerged during that period. From the analysis of the information compiled, a matrix emerges where you can observe these tools and their fields of action and impact, providing a vision about the application of the different existing technologies. Then, with a defined general scheme, it was sought to specify which of them were reflected in the 4.0 services for education.
Teachers, as an active and fundamental part of education, will be those who have the mission of rethinking ways of training future professionals, proposing a new curricular and academic structure both between subjects and between careers according to the requirements of each orientation.
