Abstract:
Sustainable design is a philosophical concept in which the design of physical objects is related to a series of principles related to economic, social and ecological sustainability. In this way, processes are carried out that promote the objectives set by the UN for sustainable development, and where an environmental ethics is established as a field of applied ethics concerned with the natural environment, the instrumental and intrinsic value for humans and animals. Likewise, biocentrism seeks the integration of the human being, considered as one more element of the natural system, and its interrelation with the other living organisms of the planet. Finally, transhumanism emerges as another alternative to perpetuate human life beyond what it naturally has.
