Abstract: Abstract This article deals with Government Control in the management and management of solid waste in Peru, affecting the District Municipality of Desaguadero. The problem is knowing compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of the Environment in the management and handling of solid waste. Sanitary landfills that have an agent present, that expel additives or elements that deteriorate the quality of life in the environment and it is the obligation of local governments to inform MINAM. The objective is to evaluate the government control in the management and management of solid waste in the Municipal Governments of Peru, with incidence in the District Municipality of Desaguadero. In the present work a Mixed approach was used, in which the data was observed and analyzed. In Peru in 2019, out of 1,874 Municipalities, 435 complied with reporting solid waste management and management, representing 23.21%, 1158 did not comply with reporting solid waste management, representing 61.79% and reported outside of term 281 representing 15.00% and in the year 2020, it has to be that of 1,874 Municipalities, they complied in reporting the management and management of solid waste 769 representing 41.03%, they did not comply in reporting the management of solid waste management 1058 representing the 56.46% and 47 reported late, representing 2.51%. These acts of non-compliance in reporting the information to MINAM violates compliance with the regulations related to the management and management of solid waste and affects access to public information. The Desaguadero District Municipality reported the information after the deadline in 2019 and did not report the information corresponding to the 2020 period on the SIGERSOL platform. Therefore, the District Municipality of Desaguadero, failed to observe the provisions of literal a) of article 13 of the Regulations of the Law of Integral Management of Solid Waste. The Entity arranges the corrective and preventive measures to ensure that those responsible report in a correct and timely manner the information on the processing and management of solid waste in the SIGERSOL municipal platform.
